INSTRUCTORS

Robert David Jemian first started teaching for AUSDA while he attended Auburn in the mid-2000s. After college, he made the move to Atlanta where he was in the regular instructor rotation for Down South Swing. Now Robert David has moved back to Auburn and is teaching both locally and regionally. Recently he has had the opportunity to teach at Huntsville’s Regional Meetup in December 2016 as well as for Lollies and Lemonade, a balboa workshop, in Auburn three years in a row.

Chris started swing dancing at AUSDA in 1997 and became an instructor in 1999. He believes that the best thing about swing is the endless amount of both challenges and successes that exist in swing. He likes both the structure of the connection, and learning to lead without forcing. Chris is from Richmond, Kentucky but graduated from Auburn University. He now works for the University as an IT specialist in the College of Engineering and is AUSDA's faculty advisor.
